I used Star Hotel with my mother. This was a great hotel. Supermarkets and night markets are also conveniently located nearby.The staffs were wonderful.The woman at the reception was very kind and she recommended a Thai restaurant. The restaurant was It was so delicious that we went to eat it many times. Also,when we had trouble booking a night safari, they used telephone and helped me.They were very kind and nice smile, always. The pool staff was also cheerful, humorous and very kind.I would like to use Star Hotel again when I go to Chiang Mai.

The hotel is located in a busy area, near the famous night bazaar, with loads of restaurants and bars nearby. Despite the busy area, the room was quiet and we got a good night’s sleep. The rooms are large with lovely bathrooms - probably the best I’ve seen in 3-star accommodation in Thailand! We also enjoyed the range of breakfast options.

I have stayed here a few times in the past. The location is great and is just minutes by foot from many restaurants, the Night Bazaar, the old city, laundry, and convenience stores. Since my last stay, they have added a new building, and my room seemed renovated since the last time I stayed here. It's a bargain in a great location. I will stay here again in the future.

Location. Price. Great room facilities. Off street underground parking. Some construction going on at the site (late April 2025), so keep that in mind. Expansion plans. Some parts of the hotel did seem a little dated, but the refurbishment may address that. Room was well appointed, clean, and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and had a good view. We were travelling in a group of 8 and we had our rooms all bunched together which made everything very convenient. The location was great, only a 5 minute walk from the main night bazaar area, 711 only a 2 minute walk away so we had everything we needed.

Really nice, clean hotel in a good location for the night market area. Breakfast wasn’t to our taste but it was ok, the staff serving were friendly and staff overall were pleasant. Nice pool area to relax, it gets the sun in the morning until around lunchtime then it’s in the shade.

Excellent accommodation and the staff are super helpful. I've stayed in 4* and a few 5* hotels that have rooms smaller and less pleasant than here. Top value.

Location Staff It’s a great hotel for the money this is my third stay at this hotel. I can’t think of anything to complain about.

we wanted to be fairly close to the night market and a bar we were meeting up with friends with, so the Star fitted the bill there. It was reasonably cheap and comfortable and met our expectations for location, etc.

Breakfast was ok, check in and check out was quick and easy. Pool was ok rooms were a bit dated but clean.
